As we get into the colder months, remember that safety first will go a long way! Here are a few reminders:

-Clean the lint out of your dyers often

-Replace batteries in smoke and carbon monoxide detectors

-Pace yourself when shoveling snow especially with heavier amounts

-Wet leaves, snow and ice make for dangerous driving conditions

-Check on elderly if power goes out

-Have emergency kit in your car with items like warm blankets, flashlights and ice melter

-Make sure your fireplace is functional before you use it every year

-Don't text/talk/surf the internet while driving--EVER!!
